Traditional weighing methods often provide a distorted view of your farm’s performance due to natural bird behavior and operational risks.
- Data Loss for Heavier Birds: Larger chickens tend to avoid scales, leading to a consistent underestimation of your flock's true weight.
- The "Territory" Issue: Dominant birds often monopolize physical scales, which distorts your average results.
- Sampling Bias: Limited bird movement results in uneven data collection across the shed.
- Seasonal Precision Drops: Environmental changes often reduce the accuracy of standard image-based systems.
The Answer
Real-Time AI Calibration
InsightScale does not just guess weight based on pictures. It uses a unique Calibration Unit hung from the roof and Camera Units on the ground that work together to provide high-precision monitoring.

Continuous Learning:
The system performs real-time calibration between physical scales and AI images.

Frequent Updates:
It calibrates every hour to find the perfect correlation between bird area and actual weight.

Overcoming Age Variation:
Because the ratio of image area to weight changes as birds age, our AI adjusts daily to maintain precision.
Precision for Every Operation
Broilers
Meet the strict accuracy requirements of slaughterhouses and optimize your harvest window.
Breeder Farms
Use AI to track the specific weights of male and female birds to maintain your reproductive cycle.
Contract Growers
Provide high-precision data to your partners that proves the quality and uniformity of your birds.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the power requirements for the system?
The InsightScale Calibration unit operates on Power over Ethernet (PoE), while the Camera unit requires 100VAC to 240VAC. This ensures flexible setup options depending on your shed’s existing electrical infrastructure.
How many devices do I need for my facility?
For a standard shed of approximately 30,000 chickens, we recommend installing one Calibration unit and three Camera units. This ratio ensures optimal coverage and data accuracy across the entire flock.
Is the equipment built to stand shed environments?
Yes, the InsightScale is IP67 rated, meaning it is protected against dust and water. However, to protect the sensitive AI components, cleaning with a high-pressure water gun is prohibited.
Can I use the Camera unit alone without the Calibration unit?
We do not recommend this. The Calibration unit is essential because it provides the real-time AI adjustments needed to keep your weighing accuracy within the 98% range as birds age.
How many AI computers are required for a farm?
Typically, one AI computer is installed per farm. Our team will match you with a suitable computer based on the total number of units installed across your facility.
Can this system integrate with my existing management platform?
Yes, the system is designed for modern integration and supports both API and RS485 connections. This allows you to pull high-precision data directly into your current business intelligence tools.
